i must take this opportunity to doff my bowler to all those who have been responding to various tags...you have my respect. I would probably be able to come up with a list too but the discipline to sit through the process of extracting one from the recesses of my psyche might likely prove too taxing..kudos to you all.

Valentine's weekend came and went....nuff said. Sufficeth to say I did my bit...three sets of lingerie, full body scrub and massage, followed by a relaxing fragrant bath, shave (all over), marathon ( long marathon ) loving loving lit by candles with some Libera, Miles Davies, The Leverts, and Brian McKnight playing softly in the background...man I paid my fees...

NBA All Star weekend. The dunk contest put me off the actual game. I probably shortchanged myself I know but I reckon "SuperMan" was tired. He literally just jumped and dropped the ball in the hoop. That's a dunk - I hear you mutter. Yeah but that reverse double handed pumped from the knees by little man is what this contest is all about - and SM had no response to that.
I will most probably catch a rerun of the All Star game on ESPN before the week is out anyway without having to leave the warmth of my bed at 0300 hours. Strict no TV in the bedroom policy is in tight effect !!

Played some soccer too. What is with peeps thinking that the Sunday church social league is trials for the Bafana Bafana 2010 first 11? My brother if you never enjoyed success on a sports field when your prowess was at its peak 20 years ago - you best be content with the scraps that come your way now. Attempting a scissors kick when you look pregnant may hurt you physically but those of us who have to watch your attempt will be scarred for life. As we are already.

The year is going swimmingly. Things could be better but I appreciate that I am where a lot of people would want to be and I also have a ways to go. So I have enough going to appreciate what I got but still want enough more to be driven and have ambition and desire. I thank God for my lovely wife. She is a tower of strength. Having said that I am certain that the year will be a greater success than 2008 was. We keep it real and in effect.
